  Do you know people at work that give away compliments way too easy to colleagues like "you did such a good job" when it was mediocre at best? That's what these other review comments are like about the customer service here. I tried going back after receiving unfriendly service and got another batch of more unfriendly service. I kept trying to be friendly and upbeat in response to the waiter's lousy interpersonal skills each time but that didn't change anything.
  
  As for the food, it's typical. It's not bad sushi. But they don't have/do anything to compel a customer to come here instead of some other sushi stop like the deli at Fry's across the street. No signature dish. Boring.

  We attended fairly late (near closing time) with a group of 8 people. The service was great, the sushi was excellent, and the preparation time was impressive. We had two or three individuals that didn't prefer sushi, the menu offered them some cooked pork and teriyaki chicken options that satisfied our guests. Everyone left happy.
